About this world

Iskandria is a predominantly European style world. All of my builds are made solely with MCEdit and vanilla Minecraft.

There is a substantial Gone presence underground in addition to their cities. These people were the builders of the Strongholds and End Portals. There are plenty of details and hidden areas to discover. Lots of lost cities to explore. Iskandria is a magical world that draws parts of others into itself. You will find many familiar and alien places in its environs.

Added a little here and there. A new village is complete. More in the Northern wasteland.

Finished the first city I started. Finished Egypt and the desert borders. Finished the Port town. Added a celtic hill picture, based on the giant in England, though made family friendly. Now I am burned out so I am likely done updating for a while.

Lots of work. The Stone and Glass gazebos around the world all have a pressure plate that will transport you to a nexus where you can travel all over Iskandria. Many of the major central areas can be reached in this way. All of the Strongholds have a (sometimes hidden) surface access. Many of the builds have been added to and improved.

Increased the land to the West. There you will find the God's Fall Crater. There are more structures in the new large city in the North East.

Changed the castle near the waterfront in the Asian City to a Shinto Temple. Finished the Palace in that city as well.

More done in the East. Moved my best Eastern builds to Iskandria. The rural area is inspired by Jigoku Shoujo.

I get asked that a lot. I use the sphere brush tool and drag it or pile spheres into one another. Then, because I am lazy, I save a few as schematics. Feel free to use them as long as you drop my name. I made the shore line the same way. As a matter of fact it is the same schematic turned into water. That's how I got such a deep sea. Had to chop the top off of them, though. I usually go along beaches with the same tool then to vary the look.
