Here is the latest version. The transit line between the portals is done. Oh Maybe I forgot to mention that. Yeah the way you actually get on the island proper is Nether portal hopping. I finally got my math right and boom, it works. I added the crater entrance to it (hint: Look for the out of place bricks and follow the frozen river to the pond to the damp earth. Uncover the secret.) wee! cryptic hints are the best! but this map is very much a experimental map but it's turning into something much more I think. Oh and one more tip: look around when you first exit the first portal, don't be afraid to get a little wet. You'll find some goodies stashed away.

Well.. This map is slowly becoming more and more about just playing around and seeing what I can create now I finished the giant spire to the east of the main floating island complex. It was actually pretty fun to make. Used a combination of lava the dousing it with water to make cobblestone and covering the thing in a layer of stone and dirt and planted trees and the like. Made a waterfall that runs down into one of the main rivers in my map. The spire thing is hollow inside for the most part so it might make a cool hideout or something but I'd rather just have it as something slightly natural for now.
