Your map will display as white until it has exited the render queue. You can view the queue at https://web.archive.org/web/2020/https://www.minecraftworldmap.com/queue .

if the map is a 1.13.x snap shot or newer it wont render do to the block name / id changes ingame dound that out the hard way my self lol but it will stell work for the download
