Nice. Fat chance, but have you ever considered Pocket Edition?

Actually I have looked at this since the new Minecraft Windows edition (from the Microsoft store) is based off the pocket edition and this seems to be the direction Microsoft is moving towards as the standard for Minecraft in the future.  Not in the short-medium term plans to support it but it's on the list for long term enhancements down the road.

Good to hear. It's much more efficient, and if it reaches parity and comes to macOS (maybe Ubuntu as well) I think it'll have the potential to surpass Java Minecraft in usage. I'm currently working on a PE world, though I've been procrastinating on it lately to polish my current one. Having a map sometime after it's finished would be great.
