Wanted Changes

Since I joined I've liked downloading maps but sometimes there are things that are very irksome.
1. MINECRAFT VERSION upon uploading it should be required what minecraft version is used to make the map run properly.

2. FILE TYPE. now this isn't as annoying if you know how to do it properly, but some of us prefer using zipped files over using WinRAR. it would be nice if in the drect download it would show what download type it would be.

I know you have ideas for improvements don't be shy to state them.

I like this idea but it will have to come in the future when the rendering versions are better setup. I can't make this happen without a bigger overhaul.

Great idea - Implemented. Thank you for sharing your ideas.

I don't think this idea will get approved or is ideal but More Divisional Categories Such as "Survival island like Maps, Adventure Maps, LetsPlayer/Youtuber Maps, Maps based of TV or Video games, Ocean Based Maps" this can separate out some maps such as maps named like World3, New World.

Under the categories menu some of these exist but it's up to the user to select the right category (default is personal).

Anyone else want to see the list expanded?

I'm no forum expert but of the few that I've visited there are 2 categories that are in all of them: Fan Art (which I believe is already listed on this forum and one of the bigger sections OTD (off topic discussion) now this can range from forum games such as Corrupt a Wish [example user 1: I wish for a new Ferrari. user 2 granted but you can only drive it at 5 MPH and only 5 miles away] to requests for fan art makers. fictional stories and so much more. (and forum games can get a community really buzzing.)
