The ambition to create a 1:1 scale replica of The City by the Bay in Minecraft. Development started in July of 2015. I was inspired to make this after a week-long vacation in Northern California. Originally intended to be a replica of Union Square, it quickly branched out and became its own project. I used Google Maps, Street View, Earth, WorldEdit, and MCEdit to make this work. A few friends helped with the transportation aspects of the map, such as MUNI and BART.
