This was my 3rd world. Discontinued because of the terrain generator changes.
There are a few buildings and stuff around spawn. Lots of mined resources near the big tower.

2011.09.09: went for redwood, came back, rooftop art finished
2011.09.08: finished grassing the roof with some art
2011.09.04: after running to the original spawn
2011.09.02: after the 1st (failed) attempt to run to the original spawn
2011.08.28: 4 towers, gate to Nether
2011.08.26: underground slime spawner of 4 chunks
2011.08.18: the new base is more like a castle with a great entrance
2011.08.13: started building a new floating base at (-10991, 74, 3099)
2011.08.10: new cave house at (-3858, 72, 359)
2011.08.05: started exploring

The Story of Castle World

Long ago in the Land of Salvation a great war raged between 8 kingdoms.
After years of strife, and destruction, the Gods of Salvation cursed the people
with Drought and Famine. Then a great Dragon came from the heavens to
wipe out the warring peoples once and for all.

In their time of greatest need, a lone child made a prayer to the Gods to ask for
forgiveness for their misdeeds to one another.
The Gods felt pity for the meek, and granted the 8 kingdoms one last chance of survival.

They were to leave their homelands, and the survivors of the 8 kingdoms were tasked
to build a giant city, where they could all live in peace.

Humans, Orcs, Blood Elves, Wood Elves, Under-dwellers, Dwarves, Feline and Canid peoples
all living in the same Kingdom as one people.

They built the Kingdom of Salvation together, and lived in peace for hundreds of years.
Under the watchful eye of the Gods, they appointed Naga Beings to be the guardians
of 4 Elemental Gems that symbolize the pact between the Gods and the Survivors of
the 8 kingdoms.

All seemed well for centuries.

Until one evening, an Evil Sorcerer made contact with a being known as the Wither King,
an ancient Evil Creature from the Nether. With a promise of Great power, the Sorcerer
seeks to steal the Elemental Gems for himself, so he can bring the Wither King out
of the Nether and into the land of Salvation.

Only you can stop him! Take up your sword and put an end to the Sorcerer and
his Minions!

Requires Forge 1.10.2

All mods are included in the Game File, as well as Resource Packs

HOW TO INSTALL

Copy your .Minecraft Folder in %appdata%
Paste Into a New Folder on your C: Drive.
Download Minecraft Forge for Minecraft 1.10.2 - Version 12.18.1.2038
And install it into the new folder you just made on your C: Drive

After Forge Has been Installed, Extract the contents of
Castle World Data.ZIP

Into your New Minecraft Folder
Open the Minecraft Launcher and Create a New Profile

Under Name: CASTLE WORLD
Under Version Select : release 1.10.2-forge 1.10.2-12.18.1.2038
Under Game Directory: The File path for your Newly created .Minecraft folder on your C: Drive.
Under JVM Arguments (recommended): -Xmx8G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmn128M

Now launch the Game under your New Profile and Enjoy The Game!!!
The default Game is set to Survival.
Please set the game mode to Survival to Play the Game!

The grey, dull, spiny landscape gives it away, this is The Island of Dread.

You will spawn outside, in a storm, in front of a chest which contains the rules and challenges. This map is similar to Survival Island because there is no grass (except the block of grass you have in your boat, which is washed onto the pointed rocks), it is very hard to get around the island, there is no food so you must grow your own, and there are many monsters about. Note that there are pockets of dirt around the island and underground, but it's a mission on its own getting to it on the first night. Good luck, and have fun!

Uploading this for the fun of it, and to recover my world in case it's deleted when I reset my computer.

For those of you who actually care, here's a list of some notable things in my world;

* Pet Ghast in cage: Go through Nether portal and take a left to find Sazuki (ghast's name :P) in his unfinished cage.
* Villager breeder: Based on Docm77's breeder in his current World Tour. Go West through the manmade valley to find it. (STILL BUGGY AND UNFINISHED)
* Two captured Pigmen in OverWorld: Jail cell to the right of Nether Portal.
* 1000~ x 1000~ map of area: Contains massive taiga, desert, swamp, and jungle. 2000 x 2000 map should be in inventory. (Most stuff outside of the 2kx2k map is for me to explore in 1.7)
* Zombie Farm: Head South (around 200 blocks) to find a farm for zombies I made before I found a zombie dungeon directly below my home. If you have trouble finding it, climb on top of the giant mob spawner at night with Render distance set to Normal. Look for lights.
* Mob Spawner: Based on EthosLab's basic mobspawner in his LP world. Only 1 out of 5 layers complete.
* Horse Stables: Go up the Oak staircases to find an unfinished room for horse stables.
